About Us
About The NAACP
Established in 1909, the NAACP Vallejo Branch #1081 caters to the communities of Vallejo, Benicia, American Canyon, Napa, Saint Helena, and Angwin, California. As one of the nation’s oldest grassroots civil rights organizations, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is dedicated to serving the community. Our focus includes educating people on voter registration, the significance of civil rights, and housing. We have excelled in collaboration with local, state, and national leaders, working towards advancing the organization by advocating for laws that promote fairness and equality for African Americans.
Patricia Hunter, NAACP Vallejo President

Ms. Hunter is humbled and hopeful about this next season of the branch’s history and seeks mutual partnership through an invitation to “Join the Journey.”
